day seven;

four moments that changed your life

1. when i was diagnosed with my kidney disease. it was soo long ago yet i remember every detail of that day. all the tears. all the yelling. the hugging. the needles. the tests. the doctors. i was scared out of my mind. but i can honestly say, i wouldnt take it back. it has made me live fuller and love more.

2. the day max was adopted. being a nine year old self proclaimed “princess” and a child i wasnt to happy. i cried. stomped my feet. threw a full blown hissy fit. why on earth were my parents bringing home this eleven month sticky stinky boy? i had no clue. but now? that ten year old handsome, smart, funny, whitty young man is one of my best friends. he brightens my days. and makes our family whole. and he has made me a better person.

3. when nana passed. i try to completely block this memory out of my brain, yet i think about it often. she was my rock. my sunshine. my best friend. i miss her so bad it hurts. but the day she passed, i grew up. i became strong.

4. the day we broke up. it rocked me. it broke my heart. to this day you still have pieces of my heart. but it also made me stronger. it made me think with my brain AND my heart. it made me see what i deserve. it hurt me more then anything. but it made me who i am today.
